Escarpanter Family

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, both Alex and Anayancy have a deep love for that Florida lifestyle. From beach days to road-trips, boating, kayaking, exploring the outdoors and creating memories together with their daughter Aria and son Aydn is simply a way of life. Alex is a creative at heart and a 20 year cinematographer, advanced underwater Padi Diver and certified Drone Specialist. His work has traveled him around the world for television, commercials, films and photography. He is master behind the camera and has always peaked an interest to explore nature's beauty. Anayancy is a business builder and marketing guru mastering national campaigns in the spirits and wine industry for nearly 20 years. Her passion for events and experiential marketing led her to explore her entrepreneurial dreams. In 2016, she launched Women in Leadership League with a focus on empowerment, equality, philanthropy, and mentorship through community and social events. Together since 2001, Alex and Anayancy always said “home is wherever we are.” Raising a family and creating life together would become the compass to follow. After the pandemic, the world was looking for new ways to connect and create experiences that last a lifetime. Our perspectives shifted and we welcomed a new speed of life. Fast forward to the summer of 2022, we discovered Timberline Glamping at Hillsborough River State Park in Tampa FL. In our family, we are surrounded by outdoor loving campers and RV owners who had booked up the park for Memorial Day weekend. We reached out to friends and family and as the story goes, in about 24 hours with no hesitation, there were nearly 20 families ready to explore together. That weekend was one to remember for all us and it made us realize that Glamping was centered around family, creating memorable experiences, and trying new adventures. After working closely with Nathan and Rebeka to find just the right spot, we learned that Glamping creates both excitement and stillness in the best way. They knew it was something to explore and be a part of in a bigger way. The Escarpanters are thrilled to host families from near and far to the Glamping sites at Oscer Scherer State Park and help be a part of their journey as guests make memories together.
